Materials:
2 T Citric Acid
2 T Cornstarch
1/4 c baking soda
1/4 t fragrance oil
3 - 6 drops of liquid colorant (if desired)
3 T Coconut Oil ( or any other emolient oil
like Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, or Apricot Kernel Oil)
Instructions:
1. Place all of the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well. 2. Mix fragrance
and colorant together. 3. In a small glass bowl combine oil with fragrance and
colorant mixture. 4. Slowly add oil mixture to dry ingredients and blend well.
5. Take truffle sized scoops of the mixture and shape into balls. 6. Balls
should be about 1" in diameter. Let balls rest on a sheet of waxed paper
for 2 - 3 hours. 7. Let the bombs dry and harden for 24 - 48 hours. You can pack
each bomb into its own candy cup. Store bombs in a closed container. 8. To use -
drop 1 - 3 into warm bath water.
Bath Cookies
Materials:
2 cups finely ground sea salt
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoon light oil
2 eggs
5-6 drops essential oil of your choice- chamomile is nice Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Combine all of the above ingredients and then
take a generous teaspoon of the dough and form it into a ball! Place on an
ungreased cookie sheet. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes, until they are
lightly browned ( do not overbake ). Allow the cookies to cool completely. To
Use: Drop 1 or 2 cookies into a warm bath and allow to dissolve.
Black Cherry Bath Salts
Materials:
1 Cup Rock Salt
1 Teaspoon Liquid Glycerine
1/2 Teaspoon Cherry Fragrance Oil
Red Food Color Instructions:
Stir rock slat and glycerine together. Add fragrance oil and coloring. Stir well
until color and fragrance are evenly distributed. Spread salt on wax paper on a
cookie sheet and allow to dry completely. Overnight isn't too long. Package and
store in a closed container. Use 1/4 cup salt per tub.
